As at 1 July 9013, Watercare managed assets which are valued at $8.4 billion and received total
revenue of $46. Million for the year ending 30 June 9013.

The company’s main services include:

  • The collection, treatment, and distribution of drinking water from 19 dams, 14 groundwater sources and springs and three river sources.
  •  The collection, treatment, and disposal of wastewater at 90 treatment plants.
  • The transfer, treatment, and disposal of trade wastes
  • The provision of commercial laboratory services in support of the business.

These activities are supported by customer services, finance, legal services, capital programmes,
human resources, information services and maintenance services.

AVS is proud to be actively involved in the community by directly supporting youth cricket in Auckland. We also invest in native forest conservation through our close partnership with the QE2 Trust by re-establishing native forest and fauna on a large conservation estate north of Auckland.
