Founded in 1914, the Tatua Co-operative Dairy Company is the oldest independent dairy company in New Zealand and is situated at Tatuanui, 35km east of Hamilton.
This project consists of a new $16.5 million design and build 1.5T drier and evaporator building for Tatua Dairy. Flexibility in design means that the facility can produce over 70 different product lines including specialist products such as honey. The new Tatua drier will be the highest temperature and pressure drier in the world, with the pressure reaching 650 bar, and is the first experimental washable packaging line in the world.
AVS is proud to be actively involved in the community by directly supporting youth cricket in Auckland. We also invest in native forest conservation through our close partnership with the QE2 Trust by re-establishing native forest and fauna on a large conservation estate north of Auckland.
