Construction of the Gardians plant near Balclutha on a 4ha site began in September 2011 and has been upgraded recently. It was operational in 2012 with the target of finishing 20,000 tonnes of dairy nutritional products a year. This Dryer will provide Danone Nutricia with a large milk drying capacity, along with a long-term fresh milk supply access. ‘It will also add an infant formula blending and packing facility to Nutricia’s existing operations platform.’

AVS IN THE COMMUNITY

AVS is proud to be actively involved in the community by directly supporting youth cricket in Auckland. We also invest in native forest conservation through our close partnership with the QE2 Trust by re-establishing native forest and fauna on a large conservation estate north of Auckland.
